We appreciate your feedback and comments.

Can't fault this hospital, been a bit painful ( due to surgery) but very pleasant stay still got some more procedures to go. Doctors and nurses are great and had some great help from a wonderful social worker Eliana Chavez-Lope ( hope she doesn't mind me mentioning her name ) in helping me get a place to stay pending some tests I have to go through before I go back home to Canberra. Best wishes to all the staff at Concord hospital.

Just had surgery on Thursday. The whole experience was amazing from start to finish. The nurses on 4 East were wonderful. Couldn't fault the place.

I thank the very good Australian lady who helped my dad and I find our car today (18/02/2019, Monday). She said she works at Concord Hospital. I did not ask for her name, so I don't know. Good luck to her and her family. If she can to be my Facebook friend, that would be excellent. Thanks so much.

Be prepared for some staff to behave like they did in high school. How did they pass the vetting process? If you are vision impaired, or hearing impaired, or have any apparent physical abnormality, do not visit a patient here, or if you do be ready to report the bad staff to NSW Health. The Hospital needs cleaning up.

The hospital seems very well run and proficient but as a patient from the country it disappoints me that after a 10 min Skype call to my family I am locked out of the WiFi for 2 days (it says tomorrow but not just 1 day) as using up my allowance. I am a private patient and with no TV and no WiFi I feel isolated and bored. The staff says “everyone complains about the WiFi” so why not fix it? Thanks.

Can't fault professionalism of staff including admissions, Emergency & Aged Care Department - for my mother. Unfortunately, we have had a number of visits these last 12 months - on each occasion the staff have been attentive, caring and supportive - thank you!

A massive shout out to the team in ER and the wonderful team on East Ward Level 1 for their dedicated care, good humour and attentiveness during my unplanned visit over the weekend. Also a big shout out to all the people in Theatre who I never got to meet since I was out cold, but I'm feeling much better - thank you! I include doctors, nurses, specialists and support staff in my thanks - all of you were amazing x

There're so many things going on in a day in such a big hospital (some are good experiences, some are bad) so can't wrap up in a sentence. From a student and a casual staff point of view, I would give 4 stars.

Just have to say a huge thankyou to all the staff involved with the burns unit. I could not be happier with the such caring treatment from all of you a few months back. You all really know your stuff once again thankyou

I have updated my review from 1 star to 4 stars. Good care. Atlhough would of liked more empathy and compassion towards non English speaking patients when handled by all nurses. I understand it was frustrating but I had to thank the nurse we had today who was informative, reassuring and had patience and was compassionate. Thank you very much for understanding.

Today, Friday, 27th April, 2018 I was treated with efficiency and care from the moment I walked into the main entrance. The escort to Ward 2 West was courteous and appreciated. The receptionist was most cordial and friendly to all who arrived, especially to those with carers. The nursing staff were amazing. I was prepared for surgery by professional and courteous nurses. The surgeon decided to cancel my surgery as it was decided to be unnecessary at this time - a most amazing decision. Thank you to all I met. Wonderful ambassadors for a great hospital.

I was sent to Concord hospital twice by my doctor with a letter due to very scary symptoms, including profous bleeding from somewhere you should not be bleeding!
Both times I was kept for 5+ hours and all they did was take blood. As nothing showed up they sent me home. I was not allowed to eat or drink during this time and was in agonizing pain. They never offered me anything.
I was eventually taken to RPA and sent for an EMERGENCY gastroscopy and endoscopy where they discovered I have Inflammatory Bowel Disease which is a CHRONIC and INCUREABLE disease.
I am appalled by how I was treated by Concord hospital. They made me think I was crazy when in fact they were incompetent in their job.

Had to go to the ER here a couple of times, they are fantastic. A bit stressful of course, but the staff do care a lot. Thanks <3

Came In to medicos cafe at 737am asked for a bacon & egg roll got told Oh the kitchen doesn't open till 8am there's no sinages displaying breakfast starting time only end time which is 11am. I came back at 8am asked again for a bacon & egg roll I then got told by the same person sorry kitchen doesn't open till 9am. IM like you just told me 8am now 9am this is unacceptable as singage only display breakfast till 11am nothing about starting time. I got turned off then went to the other cafe near the discharge lounge got A++ service quick easily & extremely friendly.

One other time I came to the medicos cafe at 315pm asked for a steak sandwich got told were closing in 30mins so we can't make you a steak sandwich on anything else on the menu only wants in the window. Again no signage to indicate end of lunch time hours.

Google didn't have a half star or even a 1/4./this has to be Sydney's worst hospital ever !!! Some of my essential medication blamed went missing and staff failed to take responsibility. The police that came in with me, they didn't call them and said that was my job. God help anyone who visits this 1950s hospital. Took them over a hour to write a discharge letter at 2pm when was quiet. What a joke.

All time Great hospital, was working there for many years !!!!

Hard working staff doing there best to keep the old bones of the Concord hospital in good order, which is no mean feat havimg been up for a number of years. l'm think its possible due for a compete knock down rather than an a very expensive refurbishment. l look forward to seeing it's completion.

Hi , I just want to thank the team in ED and the surgeon doctor who came in on her day off to perform emergency surgery on my wife! I have tried finding out who you are but haven't had any luck. The ED nurses , both had blonde hair, one of them who was so kind when my wife arrived and the other who sat with us during the ultra sound, thank you so much for your support. To the department heads of , your team identified internal bleeding so quickly, put her into emergency surgery and literally saved her life and I could only ever repay by assisting you with some of your contracts to clean up the place.
Sure the hospital looks old and could do with some capital injection but most of you aren't a product of your environment and looking at the other posts , if only they realised that the budget and expenses arent controlled by the team at Concord hospital but rather a shocking government that is too busy providing welfare for those that couldn't be bothered to work.

If ever I could be of service with your asset then my weekends are yours.

I arrived by ambulance and spent three days at the Hospital until I was discharged. I have nothing but praise for the amazing hard working staff, doctors nurses who attended to my needs during my stay. A huge thank you, all of you.

It’s 4am been here for 3 hours now in emergency
I’m the only one here waiting
Asked for the nurse multiple times still no sign of her. Thinking I should walk out atleast I’ll be more comfortable at home

Rude and bad service attitude from receptionist. Hang up the phone when you not even finish your sentence and enquiry.

Pauline David

I was recently admitted to concord as an outpatient at the Burns Clinic due to injuries i sustained. I would like to thank in particular two members of staff, Megan Brady and Sarah Roberts (CNS) who both went above and beyond with my care. While the experience was at first a pretty scary one, as i didn't know what to expect, i felt comforted in knowing that these two ladies had my best interests at heart, and it was then that i knew i was in safe hands. Once again, from the bottom of my heart i thank you, i hope to see you again under better circumstances .

Mohamad ElRefai
They had me waiting for more than 2 hours, they are unprofessional, and they make you more sick than you already are. Do yourself a favor, and do not come here. Horrible !!

LeeAnne Bennett

My partner had an operation and was looked after very well. I stayed in the hostel. It was very good and saved a big expense. The only hard bit was he was on the 4th floor and lifts are virtually only for patient transfer.

Sarah Cheng
Very rude Asian look head nurse from endoscopy, she wouldn't even let me finish my sentence but keep interrupting three times in a row when i was trying to explain what I would like to know and simply ask "now you finished?" when I claimed she didn't even let me finish my statement. I've never seen such bad attitude in any hospital. She wasn't even in a rush to serve another patient as she went to staff room chatting with her colleague about her holiday afterwards.

I recently had 2 surgeries, including an emergency admission, at Concord Hospital with the ENT teams. While the hospital appears long overdue for the planned upgrade, the dedication and professionalism of the staff are first-class. The care I received from the point of admission, through to the emergency team, the surgical team and the nursing teams was excellent and much appreciated. I would have given 5 stars but for the condition of the current building and facilities.

shafiqul alam
very very slow processing. arrived at 5.50am and waiting till now at 9.50am, still no sign of a doctor call.
my worst experience so far......
