NT Cardiac are located on the ground floor of Darwin Private Hospital.
NT Cardiac provides the full spectrum of high quality cardiology care including general clinical cardiology, interventional cardiology, diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology and non-invasive testing.
Our Cardiac Services incorporate investigative and interventional procedures.
With cardiologists practising and consulting onsite, patients get immediate access to a wide range of treatments at one location.
Paediatric UnitThere are many reasons why children are admitted to the Paediatric Unit at Darwin Private Hospital and it can seem a very strange and frightening environment.
Our medical and nursing staff are there to help through this time and are only too pleased to answer any questions or concerns.
The unit is staffed 24 hours a day by nurses with paediatric experience and we can provide care for children from one month to 12 years, with specialised equipment so that children are in the safest care possible.
Next door to the four-patient ward is a fun, inviting family room with a comfortable lounge, big TV, toys and a colouring-in table. A fenced play area on the balcony enables children to go outside to play or relax in a safe environment.
Parents/carers are encouraged to stay with their child at all times.
Visiting hours are between 3pm-8pm and outside of these times is restricted to parents and carers only.
Our paediatric ward boasts it’s own kids’ menu and we have a skilled team of kitchen staff who can cater to all dietary requirements.
Meals are provided for your child and one carer.
At the Darwin Private Hospital, our Allied Health department delivers thorough and comprehensive inpatients and outpatient services, on an individual basis or group setting.
All programs are designed to improve function and independence and are tailored to address the individual needs of our clients.

MaternityThe Maternity Team at Darwin Private Hospital is committed to making the arrival of your newborn/s the best experience possible.
We offer excellent, professional obstetric and midwifery care to mothers and babies in our 20 bed Maternity Unit and Special Care Nursery.
The provision of care is contributed to by a highly skilled, integrated team comprising of nursing staff, health professionals and accredited private specialists and their aim is to contribute to the provision of the best possible outcomes with high satisfaction for your family.
Darwin Private Hospital’s preferred visiting hours are
Jacana and Corella Wards: 9am - 1pm and 3pm - 8pm
Jabiru (Maternity Ward): 3pm and 8pm.
The High Dependency Unit: visitors are asked to be respectful of the delicate nature of this unit and requests that visitors restrict their stay to short periods and only a few people at a time.
Your comfort and well-being are paramount and if you should decide you do not wish to have visitors or would prefer not to receive telephone calls, please let one of our staff know so that your wishes can be accommodated.
If you have family or friends who are only able to visit outside these times, please inform one of our nursing staff.
Special arrangements can be made for mums and dads who are supporting a child during an inpatient stay.
Darwin Private Hospital has a dedicated carpark which is managed by Wilsons Parking Solutions.
The carpark has 2 hours free parking using a ticket pay and display system.
If you require park longer parking than the two hour period you will be required to pay a nominal fee as per the Wilsons signage.
Visitors that require routine longer parking stints (eg family of Maternity patients or relatives of Day Surgery patients) are just required to identify themselves to Hospital Front Reception and a 'temporary' car parking pass will be allocated to them to cover the length of stay in the hospital.

A bus stop is located at the front entrance of the hospital precinct and is serviced by Darwinbus. Timetables are available online at www.transport.nt.gov.au/public/bus/darwin and by calling 08 8924 7666.
Urban buses contracted to the Department are 96% easy access buses. It is mainly in the case of a breakdown this facility may not be available. To arrange for an easy access bus to be on a particular service, arrangements can be made with the Public Transport Division by phoning 8924 7666.
