Mr Timothy Bennett graduated medicine at Monash University in 1985 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1995, specialising in plastic surgery.
He was appointed as a Research Fellow at the Bernard O’Brien Institute of Microsurgery from 1996-1998 involving research into peripheral nerve injuries and was awarded a Diploma of Anatomy in 1988.
Mr Bennett then went on to complete a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship in Leeds, England from 1998 – 1999.
Today, Mr Bennett is the Director of Plastic Surgery at St Vincent’s Public Hospital Melbourne and a visiting Hand Surgeon at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Fitzroy and Kew, Melbourne while maintaining memberships with the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Australian Hand Surgery Society.
Tim completed his training in 1985 followed by a research degree and a fellowship in Leeds, UK. He is an examiner in Plastic surgery with the RACS and is highly involved with teaching.
Mr. Bennett is Director of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at St. Vincent’s Public Hospital with a collocated Private Practice in Hand and reconstructive surgery.

Dr Bennett repaired my wrist after a car accident in 2011. Was a long slow process and it still isn't 100% but that's just the way it goes........atleast I can still play my guitar and get something out of it .........great staff aswell @ the clinic and st V hostpital......thanx Tim.
